Membership Benefits

A few of the benefits you receive as a member of the Spanish Peaks Board of Realtors are:

Educational Opportunities

Education plays an important role in a REALTOR's career. The Real Estate Commission of Colorado requires all licensees to have completed twenty-four hours of continuing education before renewing any active three-year license. As a member, you have access to online continuing educations as well as classes, workshops and seminars. The Board can also connect you to on-going classes toward the GRI, MRE and CRS that are offered throughout the year as well as classes in special interest areas.

Dispute Resolution

All REALTORS® must abide by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics. The Spanish Peaks Board of Realtors upholds this code, and facilitates dispute resolution. There is an ethics process is in place to handle complaints alleging acts of unethical conduct.

Mediation is available to assist parties in reaching a settlement of a dispute in an informal manner as an alternative to arbitration. If mediation is not selected, or it is not successful in resolving a monetary dispute, arbitration is available.

Community Involvement

Networking can help your business to grow. By being involved with the board, you can be involved with your community, and have greater access to information, trends, new developments and customers, all while making a positive contribution to your community.

Governmental Involvement

The Spanish Peaks Board of Realtors has very strong local government relations. As such, through the Board, you can keep abreast of local issues and developments. With government involvement, your voice can be heard. We are an advocacy group for public policy that is favorable to the real estate industry.
